Mit der Cutting Pro Competition bringt TYROLIT Sportsgeist und Stimmung in die Welt des Betonschneidens und -bohrens. Im Scheinwerferlicht stehen die professionellen Anwender: Kraft, Know-how und Ambition entscheiden über Sieg oder Niederlage.

Die TYROLIT Cutting Pro Competition besteht aus drei Disziplinen: Wandsägen, Kernbohren und Handsägen. Das Reglement und das Material sind standardisiert und erlauben faire Wettbewerbe, deren Resultate international vergleichbar sind.

Nordic qualifications

The qualifications for the three Nordic countries Sweden, Denmark Norway has been held in five different locations during the spring.

Sweden
First out was Gothenburg with a lovely spring weather, a nice set up and eager competitors. One of the most serious one was Jocke Lenander from NSH Nordisk Specialhåltagning AB, he was extremely focused and wanted revenge from last year when he missed a place on the European final. This year he goes for gold in the European final, and the first step is taken, since he won the Gothenburg qualification and is now qualified for the Nordic final.

Second out was Stockholm, where the competition was held at Bo Lamm Maskinfirma in the city center. The sunny day tempted several competitors and spectators. The fact that Günters famous grilled German sausages was on the lunch menu  was of course also an extra benefit many looked forward too. Last years  back-up, Chris Lindström at C.Lindström Bygg & Håltagning, came to make sure he would have a place in this years final to make up for 2009 years´s second place, and to his happiness and proudness he manage to win the Stockholm qualifications.

Denmark
The qualifications in Denmark was held both on Sjælland and Jylland. Tyrolit took the opportunity to introduce the newly opened service center with the new service partner Elmodan, and held the competition at their premises. As with all these events the nerves were tense but smiles big, and Johan Axelson from JA Diamant proved to be the one managing the tools, machines and not the least the excitement the best and won the qualification on Sjælland. In Jylland the company MT Højgård made a grand slam and took all three top rankings with their highly skilled concrete cutters Claus Hougaard (1st), Steen Jensen (2nd) and Carsten Kristensen (3rd).

Norway
Last but not least Oslo held the Norweigan qualification at the newly opened Tyrolit office and service center. The event was frequently visited from both customers, friends and press and the barbecue was busy all day in Oslo´s first really hot summer day this year. Volker Sass from Rune Monsen AS flew in all the way from Bergen, and the trip was well worth it. Volker won the qualification and now look forward to the Nordic finals at Demcon in September in Stockholm.

The winners from 2009 are all directly qualified for the Nordic final.

Cutting Pro Competition 2010 celebrates half-time

After two very sucessful competitions in Italy on February, 5th in Milan and in UK on May 27th in Daventry, the third TYROLIT Cutting Pro Competition took place in Barcelona, Spain end of June. Good weather set the stage for a thrilling event. Athletes from all parts of the country demonstrated their high level of proficiency in cutting and drilling conrete. Although no new record was set, the average times in the three disciplines were among the very best so far on the tour. In the end,  the results were as close as on all competitions so far this year and the Spanish Champion David Garcia Rodriguez (TPF) was only 2 points ahead of Lahcen El Caboury (Hormigocorte) who finished in 2nd place.

Summer break

In July and August, the competition tour will take a holiday break. But in September, the tour will start again and will be carried out in Sweden and France. At the same time, preparations are under way for the European Championships in January 2011 in Austria. As usual, our internet site will keep you up-dated.

DISZIPLINEN

Wandsägen
Beim Wandsägen geht es darum, eine Betonscheibe möglichst schnell mit mindestens zwei Schnitten von einem armierten Betonblock abzusägen. Dabei kommt es besonders auf die optimale Tiefe des ersten Schnittes und das Gefühl des Sportlers für Maschine und Werkzeug an.
Kernbohren

Kernbohren
Beim Kernbohren gilt es, ein Loch in einen armierten Betonblock zu bohren. Mit dem Startsignal beginnt der Aufbau, der in die Wettkampfzeit mit einberechnet wird. Die Montage des Bohrständers auf einem aufrecht stehenden Betonblock und die Fixierung von Bohrmotor und Bohrkrone verlangen besondere Geschicklichkeit. Die schnellste Bohrgeschwindigkeit wird durch die optimale Belastung der Bohrkrone erzielt.
Handsägen

Handsägen
Beim Handsägen soll eine Scheibe eines unarmierten Betonrohrs abgeschnitten werden. Dafür sind Kraft und Geschicklichkeit des Sportlers im Umgang mit dem Trennschleifer entscheidend.
